March 2010, our first official comp-etition. We learned a lot about the rules and special techniques that are used by many teams. We made the final table in brisket and thought that was a great showing for our first time out. |
June 2010, we competed smack down in the middle of the Fort Worth Stockyards. We made the final table in chicken with the glaze assistance of Brooke. Also, we learned a lot about beans that weekend. |
We really came prepared to compete. This was the debute of the tail chuck box, it was very handy for our cooking needs. This time we finished in the money at 15th place in ribs and 18th place in brisket |
